Joe,

This is very well put. It mirrors exactly what I've been thinking for several weeks. So many of us (humans) hurt ourselves and those around us when we remain stubborn and hard-hearted toward issues in our lives. And we don't see that we are hurting others or ourselves right away. Sometimes is takes years for us humans to understand the error of our ways, and by the time we recognize what we've thoughtlessly said or done in the past, it is sometimes too late to make amends. As humans, we only have a certain amount of time to live on this earth. And we just don't know how long we will have to reconcile situations before we are called Home (hopefully). One thing I know is this...I don't want to leave this earth with any single person I have a relationship with, thinking that I don't love them and think they are not an important part of my life. Even acquaintenance and clients and people that aren't close family or friends deserve to be treated the way Jesus would treat them. When I stand in front of my Father in Heaven on that day, I want to know that I have made Him proud by treating each of His children like gold.
